I bought this at $229, definitely worth it at the old and new pricing. I keep it mounted to GoPro chesty, chest strap mount for my mountain bike rides here in Phoenix. It does amazingly well reducing vibrations in the footage using the standard rocksteady, haven't used rocksteady+ yet because it will crop the video a little bit more. The included battery lasts about an hour of filming 4k @ 60fps, i ordered a 3 pack of K&F CONCEPTbatteries with extended capacity for an extra $50. My rides average about 2 hours and 2 batteries covers that.

Been considering getting one of these for mt biking as well (and other activities) as I'm down in Tucson. Is there anything with the Osmo 5 or 6 that you wish this model had?
Great camera, used the Action 4 for a few years while cycling. That mount is solid, no tether required. Problem with DJI now is they no longer support DJI Care Refresh for U.S. customers.
Recently got the Insta360 X5 last holiday season during Black Friday. Way more fun, gets front, back, sides, and the integration with Strava or Garmin makes stats overlay way easier.

It's my first action cam so I can't say I'm left wanting for any features as of now, I had looked at the 5 and 6 prior to purchase I just didn't want to spend north of 300 as I still needed accessories.

Yeah there was an excellent adventure combo a few days ago that I picked up for around $170. Totally worth it, looks brand new.
This 99.9% of the time. Gopro's are nice, I have used them for years, but they just don't hold up in comparison at the same price points.
The gopro at this price is a gopro hero, no front screen, no removeable swappable battery, smaller sensor.
Even when compared to the top of the line gopro's its still a smaller sensor in the go pro, with less battery life, and more overheating issues.
The only real advantage any gopro's have over the DJI cams is built in mounting ears/tripod screw, and higher 5.3k res on the top of the line gopro vs the older dji.
I own now a a gopro and 3 dji camera's and i can't think of a single reason I would reach for the gopro
