Horrendous deal. Amazon had something similar for $40! This one: SIXTHGU Laptop Power Bank, 3-Port 20,000mAh Portable Charger with 200W Max Output, PD 3.1 Fast Charging, Flight-Approved for Travel, PowerTower, for MacBook, iPhone 17/16 Series, and More(Grey)
The SIXTHGU one mentioned in the previous comment l
- only had 85 reviews
- is from a brand I have never personally heard of. I have no affiliation with them, but I have used a few UGREEN products and I know they've been around for at least a few years.
- 20% less capacity (25Ah vs 20Ah). https://a.co/d/0cGzBEv3 is a better comparison from UGREEN. It is currently $70 but has been down to $60 pretty regularly.
UGREEN is also a much better known brand, at least to me, and has 1K reviews on the 25Ah and 4K reviews on the 20Ah. I personally would not trust a big battery like this from an unknown, at least to me, brand with so few reviews.
In general, you are also paying a premium for the screen so if you just want a basic battery there are better options but I find screen useful. Knowing how long the battery will last at the current usage rate and how long it will take to charge at the current charge rate are probably the best part but knowing that how much power is going in/out of each port is really nice.
I grabbed one of these last week. I justified it at $90 because of the features and how soon I needed it but $80 is much better. It has been working great while traveling with my MacBook, iPhone, Steam Deck, and other assorted electronics. The build quality is solid and the weight is on par with other batteries of its capacity. This is also the largest most airlines will let on the plane
