Actual seller: FEELSO-FAUCETS
Business Name: HengShuiTeCangShangMaoYouXianGongSi

Reminder that Moen did a study and found about 90% of these no name knockoffs contained lead and other toxins .
https://www.moen.com/safe-faucets

YMMV on what corners you cut to save a buck.

Not a surprise. Moen is $250, this one is $25. Looks and functions similar. I bought one off brand. It really good from the look and feel, comparable to moen. Way better than homedepot glacier bay. Wish this off brand can improve a little to get rid of lead and direct compete to moen and become name brand.

It fries your neurons, and drops your IQ so you can't make smart choices anymore.

Not saying you're wrong, or that you should buy one of these, but a study done by a company that sells faucets concluding you shouldn't buy faucets from their competitors is amusing.
Id prefer to see it from an independent study.

Totally fair concern. They have a conflict of interest for sure.

But not sure who else would fund such a study. It was an independent lab and their finding resulted in the Consumer Product Safety Commission issuing numerous product warnings and multiple recalls.

Lead wasn't banned in plumbing until the 1986 Safe Water Drinking act so chances are if your house was built before then, it likely has lead in the solder used to join copper pipes. Not making excuses, just stating facts.

Any lead is bad.
But more lead is worse. Having other possible exposures should only increase your concern about adding more exposure. Lead exposure is not a yes/no binary, it's a cumulative build up quantity over time.

And lead is only one of many toxins found in these unregulated fixtures.

But you go ahead and buy your knockoff faucet if you want ๐Ÿ‘

What year was your house built? Have you taken steps to eliminate any possible lead? If you rent, did you pay for plumbing retrofits to make it lead free?

I didn't buy the "knockoff faucet" because I am not in the market for one. All my faucets are in perfect working order. I just posted because I thought others would appreciate.

This isn't personal for me.
I'm unsure why it seems personal for you.

I have pointed out the potential risks and everyone is welcome to make their own choices. ๐Ÿ‘
