Per 1 capsule:
- 90 mg elemental magnesium
- from 500 mg magnesium glycinate compound
- plus 40 mg vitamin C
So the big "500 mg" on the front is not 500 mg of usable magnesium. The actual magnesium you are getting is 90 mg per capsule. My read:
- Form: good. Magnesium glycinate is one of the better forms for calmness, sleep support, and fewer stomach issues.
- Dose strength: moderate to low per capsule. If you want a meaningful magnesium dose, 1 capsule is pretty light.
- Flexibility: decent, because the label says you can take up to 3 capsules daily, which would give you 270 mg elemental magnesium total.
- Extra vitamin C: not a big deal either way, but it is unnecessary if you only want magnesium.
For you, this means:- If you want gentle nightly magnesium, this is fine.
- If you want a stronger dose without taking multiple capsules, this is not ideal.
- If you already take magnesium oxide from your doctor, you should not stack this casually without checking total magnesium intake.
Bottom line: good form, okay product, but not very potent per capsule.I would call it a decent buy, not a great one.
A practical rating:
