For casual listeners like myself with a paid Spotify account, you can stream/download up to 15 hours of audiobooks per month. It's not much, but usually enough for one or two books.

Audible is running a strong sitewide audiobook sale with standout prices on popular series and wishlist titles, including Project Hail Mary for $5.99, Dungeon Crawler Carl around $4 to $5, and Expanse books 7 through 9 near $4 each. Other deals include Alex Rider at $2 to $3 and Jim Weiss stories around $2 for younger kids. The best pricing appears tied to active Premium Plus or Silver access, while trial, Standard, or expired plans may not show the discounts. Sale items can also show as 1 Credit at checkout, so the dollar price needs to be selected carefully.

  • Some wish list purchases show 80% or more off, with many books under $5.

  • Premium Plus access can remain after cancellation for audiobooks purchased with credits.

    ancho26clarkkent06

  • Dungeon Crawler Carl titles can land around $4-$5 each during the sale.

    belltifr

  • Project Hail Mary is listed at $5.99 during the sale.

  • Sale pricing may not appear on the $8 per month Standard credit plan.

    ThackeryBinksenjay23

  • Sale access can fail for trial membership and for the non-Premium subscription tier.

    treeheadWasser

  • Standard tier access can stop after cancellation, even if sale prices were visible.

  • Unused monthly credits can be forfeited when a subscription expires or is cancelled.

This is an incredible sale. I just bought 11 books off my wishlist for $35. Not everything had such a huge discount, but everything I purchased was 80% or more off. Thanks OP!

Doesn't seem to work for me with the 99c/mo non-Premium sub.

And after that, recommend We Are Legion, We Are Bob. Different author - same narrator (Ray Porter).

Unsure if it's on sale though since I own it already.
I will second this - the entire Bobiverse series is absolutely amazing - can't wait for the next one!

Just started book 4 and no regrets. I'm not an RPG person but really enjoying it. Great narrator especially.

Looks like books 7, 8, and 9 of The Expanse are about $4 each. I picked those up, but the rest of the series isn't as steeply discounted.

Anyone know if you can buy from the sale with the "standard" subscription that they are offering for $1 right now?
I have the $1 standard membership and cannot see the sale prices at all

I'm new to audible. This seems like a killer deal and it's tempting to get a bunch of stuff. How often does a deal like this come around?

The entire Alex Rider series is between $2 and $3. One of my favorite series when I was younger. First book is by a different narrator tho.

I completely agree but I did it in the opposite order (literally finished we are legion last week)! I then recommend seeing the Project Hail Mary movie! They stayed true to the book.

I have been a member for over 5 years now and this is the first time half of my wish list was heavily discounted. By that I mean $7 or under.

If there is stuff you want and it's under $9 it's a very good sale. @ When the books get to $11 or more than it becomes credit territory for me and they can wait if I don't want to read right away.
