No, it uses DisplayPort through USB-C or HDMI, and it includes the cable to go from HDMI to mini-HDMI (at least when I bought it, that cable was included).

Listed as the same model number, so I would say so. Doesn't come with the Allstate warranty though if that matters to you.

If you use the HDMI port, you still need to plug the USB-C for powering, right?

I am in California. Amazon wants to charge $5 Regulatory fee in addition to tax. eBay doesn't charge it. I'm going with ebay.
