the last two Shun I bought rust so easily. I have a DM0500 I bought maybe 20 years ago and it still looks pristine. not sure if they have like a 'basic' line vs a 'pro' line, but I wouldn't buy another, shame because my original is a work of art

Prices here are very "meh". I paid less for my Shun Premiere knives.

I just checked prices on a handful of these at three C's. They are lower than they have been for the past year

I don't love the Shun Classics as they have non-ambidextrous handles. Knives might be getting a lower tariff rate soon, so ordering a Tojiro directly from Japan might make more sense soon.
