I got 6 sets of these to give me a nice size home gym in the basement. It's not super soft only being 1/2 inch thick, but it feels great so far. Definitely worth it for this price.

FYI: these'll supply yo feets w loads of static electricity!
custom-cut our basement floor with these; solid improvement (over old carpet) but this is our shock room now. Also caused sneakers/footwear to squeak on hardtop surfaces (in other rooms of the house) for approx three weeks (immediately after initial install); never did figure out why.

At first glance I thought these were for acoustic dampening reasons But they would still work for that wouldnt they, or is this kind of expensive for that?
