These are my fav containers! Crystal clear and they seal great. Wife has a little difficulty opening them but that's because of how snug the lid fits on them. It's easiest to open it from a corner.
Is something like this the best solution for storing things like grains in the pantry, or are there better ways to do that?
This is probably too small for that. For grains in the pantry, look up rubbermaid brilliance pantry containers. They are much larger. I would recommend them over Oxo Pop, I've had both and the Oxo Pops seem to fail and lose their airtight seal. They are plastic, which I personally am comfortable with for dry foods, but if you want non plastic, you could look into guzzini glass canisters or le creuset stoneware canisters, but both are significantly more expensive.
