Over ears are the way to go but these I've heard the foam wears out. Any experience with skull candy?

These have the loudest bass I've ever heard. Like subwoofers on your ears. Great gym head phones. If you like bass don't hesitate and buy these. I've had mine 2 years almost daily use in the gym, pads are showing wear from when I wear my glasses from time to time but other than that perfect.

Great for the gym if you need music motivation but outsize of that these are not great. No noise cancelling - you will hear everything around you all the time with medium volume or lower - virtually no isolation. Sound balance overall is just about average, comfort level average - many have complained about headband discomfort. These headphones are not designed for long sessions. Think of them as just a cool toy for a specific purpose.

I have these and other models they sell. Love the sound. Even with bass boost off, still sounds great. Being able to adjust it to obscene levels is great. They are well made, but lots of plastic. Pads felt fine, but I upgraded them just because I use them so much.

What do you consider a long session? I use these for 2-3 hour lifts all the time. - based on your review I'm not sure you actually own these 🤣
