I get that it makes it feel more cluttered, and I don't know if I would want this particular one, but I like the idea of having a place to hang rags and things that might drip into the sink and give a little bit of extra space to sort things.

I swear every kitchen needs one of those. I don't have this exact one, but that's a good price. I think I paid 45 for mine about five years ago. Now I can't imagine how I ever went without. This freed up so much counter space, and our kitchen is miniscule.

It doesn't take up nearly as much space above the sink as the pictures make it appear. I have had one for five years or so, and I have never bumped into it, or smacked it with something in my hand, and it never gets in the way at all, and it is amazing that I don't need to use limited counter space to set anything wet. Mine also has a knife block on one side, so that's also super convenient.

Do you have a kitchen window that sticks out of the wall about a foot? I have a studio and this looks like a good idea but could be in the way of the window.

I have one like this and it's amazing for my small kitchen. Doesn't take up counter space and drips into the sink.

My kitchen sink is in front of a window, but there is nothing sticking out that I am aware of.

i could see this type of design being great for small mobile spaces - travel trailer or van build - but too cluttered in a real home
