They added DRM to steam and it's the worst DRM. You can get it on GOG for the same price. https://www.gog.com/en/game/breath_of_fire_iv

In my day, playing the game was the achievement.

It's mind boggling why they decided having the polar opposite for DRM was the right move. They're so worried about piracy on Steam, but are also cool with putting it on GOG with DRM?

GOG has no DRM, while steam has DRM just to clarify

Curious, whats the lure to achievements? So you can look at them later and be like "yeah, I played that game."? Not sure how that's the deciding factor to purchase a game rather then if its a good game. Lol
I mean if you want to play the game then you want to play it, but it is a cool way of showing your progress as well as distinct difficult to get achievements. Its bragging rights.
It might be pointless in itself but playing video games in themselves is pointless, as is all entertainment in the grand scheme of things.

The DRM makes no sense, if someone wants to pirate these games, they can just pirate the GOG version. I would buy these on Steam, but I won't support Capcom's DRM.

Typically Capcom removes the Denuvo DRM from their games after like six months or so, at least on their bigname games...but it's so mind-boggling why they'd insist on wrapping it on games from freaking 1998 that I don't want to even buy the games at the early-bird-special price.
I'll wait until DRM is off and they go on sale again at some future Steam sale...

They can easily add achievements to older titles. That's one of the main reasons I purchase them nowadays. It gives them new life.
Yeah that's one thing that surprised me with PlayStation plus premium. The old PSP and PS1 games now have trophies.
