3QT is also the same price.

Hand Wash Only; NSF Listed; Lid Sold Separately
Are commercial kitchens really hand washing everything? I think ill stick with my cuisinart from TJ Maxx with a lid for a 10-15 dollars more.

Acidic foods cooked for a long time will leach some of the aluminum into your food. Dishwashing will discolor the finish. Stainless/aluminum clad pots and pans are usually a better option for home use as these will dent comparatively easily, also.

This is a pot intended for a commercial kitchen. It's thin aluminum, reactive and will not look good after a few uses. Also a step down from eagle ware in terms of weight. Aluminum has its place since it's cheap, but it does not replace stainless.
Unless you need one of these, the thin aluminum is probably going to not be what you want.

I have one of these. It's pretty meh overall and mine discolored because my girlfriend ran it through the dishwasher. Heats fast and works decently but stainless steel is just better

the detergent used in the dishwashing machine strips the protective oxide layer from aluminum , turning it a blackish color that rubs off on anything.

Just like how cheap 100% cotton shirts got replaced by 60% polyester, are they replacing stainless steel with aluminum?

Long wait to boil water in this on induction. The free Kindle book deal beats this hands down.. Learn how to make own clay pot and heat with dried dung.

Restaurants use aluminum. Nothing wrong if you know what you're doing

Aluminum is not good to health. Just spend another $10-20, get stainless one.

Ideally, should get 18/10 or 304 grade stainless steel pan. It will last forever, no worry about negative of aluminum.
