Thanks, was able to save the offer. Make sure you link your Cash App account in your PS Store settings and make it your default payment beforehand, it won't show the discount in your PS Store checkout but you will be charged 50% off in your Cash App account. Also doesn't work if you have funds in your PS Store wallet already. (You can add up to $60 as wallet funds if you aren't buying any games or have funds already in your wallet that you don't want to use towards the offer)

You can add wallet funds, no need to purchase a game.

can i sign up for a new CashApp account long enough to get the max $60 for $30, verify it goes into my account then disconnect my debit card from the CashApp account? I never had a account but I hear CashApp is VERY sketchy

Worked like a charm. Thank you for posting - would never have found this otherwise and was able to get a couple games and DLC that never seem to go on sale.

I wonder if you can link a different CashApp account for another $60? Sounds like it would be against terms on either PSN or CashApp though
I don't see how that would be against terms for PlayStation considering it's just a payment method and makes no difference to them

Say you have 2 parents or family members who agree to gift you $60 PlayStation wallet funds via Cash App Pay...how is that illegal or against terms?

You can use credit/debit cards on your PS account that don't belong to you, so what's the difference here?

Added the offer in CashApp, but when trying to add funds to my PSN wallet I get an error: "An error has occurred. Please try again."

And now "Well, that didn't work. Wait a minute and try again."

Is there a way to add funds from the PS app?

Yeah that makes sense, unless it was a stolen account/card I think CashApp would be the only one to take action against your account but PS wouldn't care because they got paid fully

When you say "take action against your account"

do you mean Cash App taking action against your Cash App account, or against your PlayStation account?

I'm gonna play it safe and call PlayStation support and ask them if I can have a couple family members add funds to my PlayStation account using Cash App Pay.

The call will be recorded and documented so if the rep tells me yes, then I'm 100% in the clear and can proceed with confidence.

Let us know how it goes! Could be the deal of the year potentially for people wanting to stock up on PS Premium or getting GTA 6 for half off etc. lol

Just got off the phone. Rep said its totally fine for me to use a family member's linked Cash App account to purchase PlayStation wallet funds on my account.
Even provided me with a case number for the call, so its documented.

Proceeding with confidence.
