The i5-14450HX competes well with the Ryzen 7 and 9 7840HS/8845HS/8945HS Zen 4 CPUs, particularly in productivity and light server applications. It's an Intel QuickSync compatible platform, so it's also a good choice for a Plex server.
Where it falls behind those Ryzen CPUs is power efficiency and gaming. The 780m paired with those AMD CPUs will dramatically outperform this Intel UHD graphics solution, so this Intel powered Mini is a poor choice for gaming. This PC CPU is also capped at 54w according to this PC's specs sheet, so it won't be running anywhere close to the very high 157w TDP max this CPU is rated for. It's an Intel 10nm fabricated CPU vs TSMC 4nm FinFET process, so that also drags down this CPU's power efficiency.
Lastly, I'd assume the benchmarks for this PC will probably come in lighter than the average 14450HX PC, as it's paired with DDR4-3200 rather than DDR5-5600 this CPU is often paired with.
