I believe only the Ultras had a 2nd Gen.
Also, just to share my opinion, I tried these to upgrade my 6 year old Bose 700 headphones and it didn't feel like an upgrade in any way. Waiting for a deal to try the Ultras.

Ah, you're right. I had the editions confused. I was looking at these and the Ultras for a while. Thank you for the feedback on these.
