Community Reviews

This bundle is a gaming focused build anchored by a strong 9800X3D, but the rest of the parts make it feel badly balanced for the $2,800 price. The 128GB DDR5 kit and 4TB NVMe are the headline extras, yet the RTX 5070 12GB is repeatedly seen as too weak for the money, especially beside that much memory. The same memory is also viewed as hard to resell at the implied value, with recent sale examples far below the bundle math. It reads like a RAM heavy package that only makes sense if you truly need the capacity.

Common Questions (5)

  • The RAM is the main value driver, but selling it quickly at the hoped-for price looks difficult. One kit sold for $900 after more than a month, and another 64GB kit only moved at $450 after 3 weeks, so a $2,000 resale is not realistic for most buyers.

  • The RTX 5070 is widely seen as the weak point here because it is only a 12GB card and not a 5070 Ti or 16GB-class GPU. For a gaming build at this price, the GPU is considered underpowered compared with the rest of the parts.

  • It is hard to justify at $2800 unless you specifically want the 128GB RAM and 4TB NVMe. The 9800X3D is a strong gaming CPU, but the plain RTX 5070 and the oversized memory make the build feel imbalanced for the price.

  • Not really, because the 9800X3D is a 8-core gaming-focused CPU and the 128GB RAM is overkill for most gaming builds. For production work, the comments suggest a higher-core CPU such as a 16/32-class chip would fit better.

  • Yes, unless you genuinely need both 128GB of RAM and 4TB of NVMe storage. For typical gaming builds, the memory and storage are seen as the parts inflating the bundle more than improving value.

This is an entire pc build that would be pretty good right? The 128gb of ram seems a tad random, but the only real shortfall is that it's a 12gb gpu and the psu right?
It's a whole mismatch since the RAM could've made better use in rig w/ a GPU containing 16GB of VRAM and at least a 12-core CPU.

Video card makes the bundle a big waste. 9800x3d is a great gaming cpu but a plain 5070 is a joke.
