Ugh, stevia...i had high hopes that this new stuff would just be less sweet than regular gatorade, but of course they always have to add sucralose or stevia

Got super excited seeing these then realized stevia. What's wrong with just using less sugar?

Because it would taste like sour water without it. Try buying the dry mix and only using a teaspoon in your 32 ounce water and see if you like it.

Same here...I didn't think to look on the back to see that it has stevia in it. I also just assumed there was only "less sugar", meaning less sweet. I was wrong....tastes like crap(like any other fake sweetener drink). Disappointing. Manufacturers just need to make a line of drinks with 1/3 to 1/2 the REAL sweetness & no fake sweeteners at all. I think it would be popular & sell.

The Gatorade dry mix does NOT taste the same to me as the pre-mixed version.

A teaspoon is not even 1/5th the amount they recommend (the scoop is around 2 tablespoons). I always mix the blue powder half strength and it's fine.

Not really. I've purchased several kinds of lemonade over the years. Almost every time I taste it, and it's like licking a block of lemon flavored sugar. I mix it so that it's about 30-40% added water, then it's just about right.
They make all drinks WAY too sweet IMHO.
Even the no sugar drinks, just way too much artificial sweetener.
Everything doesn't have to taste like liquid jolly ranchers ffs.
