The rule states that they will not allow firmware updates after March 1, 2027.
Everything this admin does is so poorly executed it is insane. Let's stop all security updates to improve security...
There is a case for improving security standards but doing it in a logical way would not line their pockets. This is a shakedown, a few donations and this block will be bypassed.
All that being said this is pretty old already. Released in 2022 and it will only get security updates until 30th September 2026. That is a very short support life and would have me avoiding TP-link anyway.

The silver lining of all the EO being used to circumvent congress is that they are readily undone through the same means.
