Personally, I would rather go for an OG Z1E Ally over this. The Z2A is quite a bit weaker than the Z1E.

edit: I meant Z2A, there is no Z1A

Community Reviews

The Xbox Ally with Z2A is a portable Windows handheld that shines for Game Pass, indie games, and casual play, with a 7 inch 120Hz screen, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The included game bundle and Game Pass extras make the $499.99 price feel much lower, especially if the extras get used. Performance is generally described as above the Steam Deck and fine for many games at 1080p or 720p on low settings, though heavier AAA titles will not run at high settings and the Z1 Extreme model is faster. The larger 60Wh battery and more comfortable ergonomics are notable strengths, making it a practical travel companion.

Wow, this seems like a good deal. As a casual gamer, am I missing much compared to a Z1E? Is the Z2A much more energy efficient? Thanks in advance !

For casual or indie gamer it's powerful enough. Want to play triple A games, a handheld might not be enough if you want to experience all the bells and whistles.

This is the Z2A. How does that compare with the Z1E?

Didn't see the included games mentioned at Best Buy or Amazon (also same price).

Don't think it's a great idea to use that site for the current prices, just use the Microsoft store or Steam
If I used Steam, comments would reply "it's cheaper elsewhere" lol.
Will just add steam as well then. Loaded though is CDKeys and they're on the Frontpage hundreds of times over the years.
