i'm not sure what i did wrong, i texted all those codes from the number on my 7-eleven account, went to a 7-eleven, paid with my 7-eleven account wallet attached to that same number, and no savings came off at the pump.

Literally zero stations near me give a discount. A couple show $1.41 in savings but it's greyed out saying the store doesn't use price lock or savings yet. Other stations don't show a savings balance at all.

Even though the discounts (based on OP before any expired) totaled $1.47, it is possible to end up getting higher per gallon discounts.

If not yet used your initial claimed unexpired discounts, find least expensive participating 7-11 gas station "in the region" to "Price Lock" for that station. Some regions can be much wider.

You can subsequently get the locked price at another more expensive/desirable station (including some "integrated" locations with 76/Valero/etc. brand at that 7-11 location) before the lock and discounts expire provided:
  • you add your CC to 7-11 app and
  • "pay" through the app using that payment method (instead of swiping/inserting CC at pump).

Before pumping, confirm the discounted per gallon price the pump displays and in the 7-11 app.

Own anecdotal experience: Price Locked to less expensive station -- 50+ miles away from where purchase was made at but consdered "same region" -- worked and netted $1.79/gallon discount.

Probably also how other posters mentioned ending up with discounts higher than $1.47.

7-11 app indicates whether Price Lock was enabled for same region or not for the target/desired purchase location.

With Location enabled on device running 7-11 app, once reached target participating 7-11 gas station, a black "Pay for Fuel" button is displayed on 7-11 app's "Fuel" tab/page. Through that, you can select the pump number your car is stopped next to and (temporarily? see below) add CC info as well as specify the amount (Full Tank or specific $ amount).

Based on https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=183533760&postcount=211, you may want to immediately remove the payment method from 7-11 app after completing the transaction.

If you pay by swiping/inserting CC at pump after punching in phone # associated with 7-11 account, you will most likely not get locked price (nor the Price Lock additional 3-cent discount). Instead, it'll be the price you see at the pump minus at the most $1.47 (if not yet expired and you were able to claim all). Confirm with what pump displays before pumping.

At what point do you see the lower price? Before I checked the app I just went to a station on my way home. Selected 7Rewards and entered my phone number. The screen said I have 800 points but didn't show any discount in the price. So I cancelled and left in order to come back to this thread to figure out what I did wrong.

You have to pay at the pump using the app or uses location to determine where you are. Matter she the address matches the station you are at.

It will ask you to pay default to Google wallet on Android but I used my gas credit card and got the extra CB.

Then it will say pump in use and adjusting price. Check the price before you pump and enjoy

All in 3 trips my phone, my work phone, and my wife's phone. 87 gallons total (2 cars and my generator reserves) about 150 in savings.

You don't I use my CB CC every time. Some 7 11 didn't participate (not completely sure why) you tell with by opening the app on the fuel portion the location might day savings and price lock not supported at this location.
