The Logitech Ergo M575S is a thumb trackball built for wrist relief, desk clutter, and everyday productivity. It is described as especially helpful for carpal tunnel, RSI, elbow pain, spreadsheets, Photoshop, and web browsing, and the Bluetooth connection frees up a USB port. The trackball footprint stays usable in tight spaces, but it is not suited to FPS gaming. Caveats include frequent cleaning under the ball, reports of wear on the finish and ball tracking over time, and a shorter warranty than the M575.
The trackball design can reduce wrist pain by changing thumb and hand movement patterns during daily work.
The mouse can work well for productivity apps, web browsing, and publishing workflows like Photoshop.
Bluetooth connectivity can help avoid using a dongle and can free up an extra USB port.
The trackball can stay usable on a cluttered desk because it only needs its own footprint.
Button microswitches can fail quickly, and repairs may be difficult after the plastic button contact point wears down.
Finish wear and ball jumping can occur after some time, which can shorten the usable lifespan of Logitech Ergo M575 units.
The M575S version may have a shorter warranty than the M575, which can increase risk if failures happen after the shorter coverage window.
The contacts under the ball can get gunky and may require frequent cleaning, especially when eating at the desk.

M575 offers 2 yr warranty, S version less than 2 years. That's the main difference.
Some other minor differences , but i have too many "backup" mice due to $D lol , not worth the effort (more than 5 mins) to search for the minute differences.
where can i get the replacement switches
You can get any of them for like 50 cents each on AliExpress or up to $6 for a pair already imported and marked way up for resale on Amazon.
