The HF Price tracker confirms this is the lowest price it has since tracking this item.
I've been needing a charger and noticed this price dropped to $14.99 online and in-store. This is ***not listed as clearance on the website, but I have been watching this and it is now CHEAPER than the Bauer 1.7 Amp Rapid Charger which is selling for $24.97 on clearance.
YMMV In store, but in Union, NJ there is a white sign that says clearance pricing of $14.99 for a limited time on this 3 Amp version. Looking at the packaging, the time to charge various batteries on this is definitely faster than the lower Amp version. I think HF is putting this on clearance because they introduced 4 Amp and 8 Amp chargers.
I've been adding some Bauer 20V tools at my vacation home, but using a Dewalt to Bauer battery converter to power many of them. However I wanted to pick up a charger and battery for this ecosystem rather than risking all my Dewalt batteries, especially since I read the tool is suppose to protect the battery from deep discharge (any Dewalt experts out there can confirm this?) - and this might be a good jumping in point with the Spring Black Friday sale coming up on Bauer batteries.
This was a perfect item to buy and use the freebie coupon which ends today. I chose the screwdriver as my gift.
