I have the non rotating version of this and they lasted about a year before they stopped sticking. Maybe the rotating feature will help them last longer

Magnetic is good. I've used stick ons in the past and they always fall off after a while.

so I assume it uses some kind of adhesive to attach the backing to wood? I'm always weary of adhesives as it's either too weak to stay on or too strong that it damages painted surfaces when I want to remove it.
