I'd be cautious of any of these off brand metal detectors/pinpointers. While it might work for the occasional use, I wouldn't rely on them, especially in mineralized soil. The sensitivity looks to be a problem (detects a quarter at just under an inch, which isn't enough for serious detecting)

I'd suggest the Garrett Carrot. Pricier, but very reliable and accurate.


Then again, it's only 20 bucks

What is this trying to be? One photo suggests security wand use and others seem to be leaning forwards for 'treasure hunters' (traditional metal detecting use).
