Made in Japan? Seems like a good deal.

Does it say that? AI says production is likely in China even if design is in Japan

It seems to be good on the paper. 65W max 1 port is rare at this price point. Also Japan quality.

Guys! Replace your outlet. It's like $2.50 for a new receptacle and if you want to go hog wild - get the ultra heavy duty at HD for $7.50. It's a once in a lifetime replacement.

They used to have 120w and 150w as well. I've been buying these up for a while.

Seems like a good deal but delivery is nearly 3 weeks away which is unfortunate

I have this one as a replacement adapter for Macbook Air and It's convenient that I can charge iPhone at the same time though it's smaller than the original Macbook adapter.

That's a risk with these form factors, but Anker's comparable 735 65W charger has almost identical dimensions, so it's not an outlier.

Elecom is a legit Japanese brand, kind of similar to Kensington in their product mix, heavy on input peripherals, but maker of tech accessories in general. Walk into a store in Asia, and their products will be on the shelf, and not just in an online seller context.

And before anyone asks, this does not have a UL safety mark. It carries a cTÜVus mark, as well as the Japanese PSE diamond mark.
