Buyer Aware - from GamersNexus review - "HP Omen 45L is the Worst Pre-Built We've Reviewed" This might (might) be fine if you are looking to part it out. I think its hard to call anything a "slick deal" when the product is amongst the worst reviewed in the category.

It's an okay deal. Ends up being $4100 after tax when adding a $50 accessory to qualify. Means it's roughly $400 more than the deal from a week ago but a better processor.

The GN review was on an Intel product. Furthermore, the throttling issue that GN was hung up on was fixed in a firmware update.

From what I can tell the system does ship with under-clocked memory that you need to go into the HP tool to re-clock.
This is simultaneously very appealing and not at all what I'm looking for-- I'm trying to build an AI PC and the motherboard here is a real limitation, and swapping out the motherboard on an HP pre-built is not necessarily straightforward.

a widely known terrible prebuilt system and this is a 1 tb drive. Don't reward HP for outrageous pricing on a bad product.
