The difference is this one includes an optical lens which can be overlayed with the thermal lens. It was $187 a week ago, but, has since went up in price.
With either one, do not lose the cable that comes it. It's propriety and a regular USB C will not work
Very impressed with it so far. It's sensitive enough to pick up the heat signature showing where my dog was laying on the carpet along with foot prints of humans that walked by.

Just for comparison sake, not that I'm recommending this, but you can get a TopDon with a 128x128 IR sensor for $159. TopDon is a rebranding company, but is known for quality rebrands and they also have good customer support (I've used it for a TopDon battery jumper that I own - had a question about charging).

I'll watch the PF video tho to see how they vary
- It is directionally meaning the icons on the plugs show which end to use for the tester and the other end for the computer.
- Tester showed the cable had a zero power rating when plugged in one way. Reversing the cable plugs showed a <65W power rating. The icons must be followed.
A "normal" USB C cable would not have this issue/feature.
