Obligatory PSA: These have a bitter coating on them to prevent children and pets from swallowing them, which can be very dangerous. The coating can be removed by lightly sanding it off, but wiping it off with rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol will suffice. The coating can act like an insulating layer and affect conductivity in certain devices.

I tried them before however I cannot attest to their longevity as I used them for computers I repair and donate to people in need. Their AA and AAA batteries don't seem bad though so I would say these are probably okay as well.

I went w energizer for the reported better longevity.

They're cheap enough that I would rather spend the extra $2 and not be bothered with changing batteries in my key fobs for as long as possible. They also have a nice long shelf life, so the 10 pack will be useful eventually.
