From what google says "96-98% Polyester, 2-3% Spandex" so not sure. For $0.49 a pair it seemed like a good price though.

Over time, I've learned that cotton > polyester. I'll hold out for socks that are majority cotton, but still a good deal.

I got a few packs of the ankle ones maybe a year or more ago for a bit cheaper than this. They are thin but comfy and more durable than one would expect for how thin they are. They are great summer socks, will not keep your feet warm in the winter. But for 2 pairs for a dollar they last a while before holes form in them I would say.
