Ninja's 96 ounce frozen drink maker is drawing attention as a refurbished countertop machine for frappes, slushies, and iced coffee, with easy cleaning and multiple drink settings standing out. It can make frappes without diluting them with ice or water, and the larger Max version is praised for entertaining, stronger drinks, and easier cleanup. The main cautions are its bulky footprint, the need for sweetener to get drinks to slush properly, and the fact that the listing hides the refurbished condition in the description. It looks best suited to households that will actually use the capacity.
Common Questions (5)
It is reported to be very easy to clean and take apart, which makes it more practical for regular use. The larger Max version is also described as easier to clean and less prone to mold.
At $164.99, it is appealing if you want an easy-to-use machine you will actually use, and an extra 10% off in the Woot app can bring it to just under $150. A brand-new 88oz Ninja Slushi at Sam's Club is mentioned at $240 for comparison.
Yes. A sweetener is needed for drinks to properly slush, and simply using a zero-sugar beverage does not work well; liquid sweeteners like allulose can help, though too much may change the flavor.
Yes. The listing includes "Condition Refurbished" in the description even though it is not shown in the title.
It can make frappes without diluting them with ice or water, which is the main appeal for coffee drinks and slush-style beverages.

woot, arrived in January. Totally worth it!
Really like the different drink settings and crazy easy to clean.
Make note: you'll need extra space for all the syrups you end up buying for your drinks!

Yeah I'm stuck on this decision too. Our CREAMI just sits around never used because it's sort of a pain to get the mix right and I'm worried if I go with the cheaper SLUSHI version that we'll have the same experience. I'd rather spend more up front to get something that we will actually use, rather than $165 on something that takes up counter space. But if this thing is pretty awesome and fairly easy to use, the price sure is nicer.
