I realize if your space limited and would prefer a jar over a squeeze container, you may want this. To me though it's a "half a jar" as the typical one is 30 ounces. At $5.40 a jar, it's not much of a slick deal, is it?

The 30oz Jar is only $3.79 right now so only about a dollar more for twice as much.

I think there are two kinds of people: those who grew up with mayonnaise and those who did not. Whenever I try a recipe that needs mayo, I buy a jar, and then the remainder spoils in the refrigerator. Now I always make homemade mayo with a stick blender. Takes 2 minutes. The taste is VASTLY better, and I waste less.

I'm not a mayo person and have to have it sweetened to eat it all. An alternative that works for me is plain Greek yogurt, apple cider vinegar, lemon and spices to taste.
