Does anyone know of any promo codes like military discounts or new customer promos for Ace Hardware? Or if Home Depot has ever price matched Ace for one of you? I'd rather buy from HD with military discount but don't know if they'll match. Have been eyeing this one for a while. Thanks in advance

Not really the same deal ($10 more), but HD does have it for Buy One Get a Battery free.
Not sure how much the Military discount is.

This tool was I think originally optimally balanced for a 5 Ah battery. I wonder if the now included 1.7 Ah battery makes this thing front heavy.

This is a. Great tool! One of the best things I bought in the last few years. Instantly made my various projects easy. Deer stand, re-decking my trailer, re-decking my boat, fixing things,etc. 2x4 master.

Now I did almost cut my finger off... Have it on video... Long day in the woods building a new stand... It was very hot and I was trying to make a quick cut holding the plywood.

The only battery I use on mine is a 1.7Ah POWERSTACK and, yes it is a bit front heavy, but no enough to bother me. The center of gravity with the 1.7Ah is right at the transition between the yellow plastic and the metal head.

HD will price match, however you will not receive a military discount on top of that.
