This is a great guitar. I own one. I sold my Indonesian-made Pro Plus Soloist ($1400 retail) after I bought it. It has American-made Seymour Duncans, a 5-pc neck, and a Korean-made Floyd Rose 1000. If you bought a JS32, and upgraded the components, you'd already be bumping $700 with cheaper body wood and an inferior neck. The real issue here is because it's actually a good guitar, and enough of them have entered the used market, it's cheaper to just go that route. $550-600. The key thing to look for in used is poor finish around the pickups, which was an issue early in the run. If you see one of those, point it out to them, and get them to knock some more off the price.
