Only if you have ongoing subs, you can't start a new s&s batch at a set date for years.

You are mistaken.
I don't have P and I get SnS FS. I do new/different 5 SnS batch every week or so to get what's on sale + 5-15% off from SnS. And I always cancel after receiving. SnS, receive, cancel SnS, change date, SnS new 5 batch. Rinse, repeat.

No, I'm not, probably another thing they do differently for users/regions. We have a few accounts and neither of them working like that (they used to, yrs ago), now the subscribe button puts the item into the cart and only the regular checkout flow works.

I like was the previous model can! Was really useful and well tight. The coffee itself I think is worse than Lavazza.

It is supposedly the best instant coffee, but that's a matter of taste. If you're comparing to Folgers and Nescafe from Costco it will sound way overpriced.
They actually have the 9 oz can of the other flavor for almost the same price
