I could use a few extra in case some of my 9V batteries in a few of my smoke detectors in my house go out unexpectedly...

Isn't the 4 pack a better cost per battery? Make sure to select the 9V option at the end that qualifies for the coupon.

I'm not sure if they last longer, but I've had terrible luck with alkaline Duracell AA/AAA batteries leaking and ruining the devices they're used in.

What uses 9V now? If your smoke detector does, then it's > 10 years (likely) and needs replacement.

If you're playing 70s/80s Mattel handheld games, then.... WHOOO.HOOO!

Do smoke detectors no longer use 9V batteries at all? That seems unlikely.

That said, I do think the sealed battery smoke detectors seem better in terms of maintenance, so long as they actually last 10 years.
