Extended Performance means it resists breakdown longer before your next oil change. High mileage includes an additive to treat seals that have worn down. Extended Performance High Mileage is just a combination of the two.
Run Like New is a marketing term. Truck & SUV is also just marketing terms unless it specifies DIESEL Truck/SUV.
Diesel oils have additives made for diesel engines (like zinc and sulfur) because they don't use the same catalytic exhaust system as a gasoline engine. Running diesel oil in a gasoline engine can ruin the catalytic converter.
Only some of the most popular vehicles out there: Camry, Rav4, Corolla, Highlander, Prius, etc.
I hadn't heard of 0w-16 until my wife bought her new Toyota Highlander Hybrid.
That probably explains it. I was just in Walmart over lunch and out of a long wall of choices there was one jug of 0w16. That car list likely doesn't attract much DIY
oh, I should add the prices at Walmart were only about $2-3 more per jug than this deal.

Spoiler: The US blend is actually different... and American.
It's rated for Dexos R now and upgraded to API SQ.
Hint: The A is for American oil standards.
This is actually one of only about eight approved oils for the Corvette, and L87 V8's that don't need to be replaced.
P.S. It's a great oil. My go-to now. Going in my roadster this month.
Looking on the back of the 0w-40 European Car Formula, I am not seeing any DexOS rating, no DexosR. I'm getting kind of sick of GM changing their mind and Mobil changing their marketing. Depending on the year you have, a Corvette can have these recommended:
5w-30 DexOS1 Gen 2
5w-30 DexOS1 Gen 3
0w-40 DexOS2 (Mobil 1 ESP)
0w-40 DexOSR (Mobil 1 Supercar)
And then for cars like mine you have to get 10Q of the stuff!
I won't mention the track-spec oils they recommended prior to the 0w-40 change, nor the LT4, LT5, LT6 or LT7 engines.
I just wanted to stock up 3-4 changes in advance in SD/Costco fashion.

That's to be expected.
It only is listed on the Dexos R web site as Mobil 1 FS. The certification came late but I'm told SQ rated FS/ECF is Dexos R certified in 0w-40.
They ran that fire sale deal last month I suspect to help speed up the new labeling deliveries.
The 0w16 is good stuff. I'm running a 15k OCI in a plug in hybrid. Oil analysis came back good; stated typical wear for a full time motor around 6-7k miles. Can probably push OCI to 20k

Why are you here? Not everyone has a beater car.People do drive cars that Engines cost $20K,$30K,$40K, $50K or more to replace.Kirkland like others, don't meet all specs for all engines.
Tell me you don't know what you're talking about, without telling me you don't know what you're talking about
Funny enough we have a Chevy impala as well. High mileage formula has extra lubricants and additives for wear prevention. For the GM vehicles always look for Dexos stamp on the container too. That means it's tested and verified for newer GM vehicles. Typically get high mileage if you have 125k to 150kplus and normal full synthetic if it's anything other than that. Most times I have found high mileage variants to not be Dexos marked however so just wary of that.

Please provide the Kirkland Oil that meets those specs.
Newer designed engines. It doubles as hydraulic fluid for variable timing valves like Toyota's VVT. You don't really want thick hydraulic fluid running your valve train.
It also helps with fuel mileage, and that is what a lot of netizens focus on when bashing things like CAFE standards.

Well you do ask a legit question. So I give you that. However I'm a bit hurt about the bearers comment. I hate to think mine are all beaters. I have two 2006 Toyotas, a RAV 4 with 300k and a Land Cruiser with 230k. I guess they are beaters that just run great. Beaters that get unsolicited requests to buy frequently. My Land Cruiser has a waiting list.

Hint: The A is for American oil standards. They just certify the Euro batch with slightly different additives to meet Euro brand specs.

My 2023 Camry Hybrid for instance or Honda Fit 2018. 0W8 is out as well for even newer engines.
