I got one a few months ago and have worn/washed it about a dozen times. I have not subjected it to the most wear and tear, but so far there's been no pilling and the patterns still look great. It's pretty thin—take that as a pro or con.

However, it is very sensitive. I have a two different runs (about 1.5 inches each) that it picked up during washing/drying. I assume a zipper or something caught it. It's very comfortable but damages easily. $10 seems like an appropriate price rather than a deal. I wouldn't buy again, though I will continue to wear mine because it's comfy.

If you want a sweatshirt from this brand, I bought a different one that has been awesome. The name on Amazon is word vomit, "G Gradual Men's Fleece Lined Crewneck Sweatshirt Midweight Regular Fit Athletic Workout Warm Pullover Sweater Shirts," but it's great. Sturdy and comfortable. It's almost too thick for me (I'm a furnace) but would still recommend.

A more nuanced and helpful answer than the typical 100% poly.

If you're a "furnace" wouldn't you want something more breathable?

Generally speaking, I prefer lighter sweaters. But I live in a cold place and occasionally want a thicker sweater. I just have to be a bit more choosy about when I wear it. Some folk (like my spouse) would much prefer a heavier sweater. That one is a cotton/poly blend and has held up much better to approximately the same amount of use.

Pro tip: go for wool. It's better in damn near ever scenario.
