The picture looks like it would fit a Mac, but there is nothing written that says so. Anyone have any idea?

has anyone tried to connect this to a Dell Precision 5560? The dual TB usb-c on the left side is pretty similar at first glance, but that may not really work (either due to the usb spec OR the physical distance between ports).

On my 2021 16‑inch MacBook Pro, this hub ends up blocking the MagSafe port and one of the USB‑C ports, and in exchange you only get two USB‑A ports, ethernet, and a microsd slot. That trade‑off might have made sense a few years ago, but it doesn't feel practical today.

I avoided USB‑C from 2015 until last year (hanging onto a 2015 15-inch Macbook Pro), but now that I've fully switched over, I don't really see the point of sacrificing ports for older connectors. I do like Satechi, though — their accessories match Apple's design better than most.
