1. Did not like the magnetic mount. I own the slightly older version, where there is bolt join instead of the magnet. that works better for me.
2. The solar panel is much bigger than the picture makes you believe. The older version ( i have it for a year now ) is roughly half the size of this and works just fine - so far even during the winter months here, battery is always full.
Video quality was on par with the older version of the cam(I think the magnetic mount is the only diffence). That said, picture is good, and detection is good. Happy with their cameras and software and the fact you can stick an SD card and not pay any subscription.
