Yeah, looks like I'll have to head to the store as fast as possible to claim the next brick clearance in person.

Yep they canceled all orders. I escalated my chat all the way to management (Alise) who said the following. "While we don't intend for these things to happen, it is addressed in our Terms of Service. I'm sorry that you feel misled but we cannot honor that price." So Home Depot will post the price and when you purchase it they will then come back and cancel your order because of an error on their part and the only thing they can give you is a "sorry pal in the Terms and Conditions" answer. Trashy ass company.
Well, to be fair in online sales, basically unilateral mistake doctrine does not apply. The terms and law state a binding contract is not formed until an item is checked out and then when item ships. In ecommerce the item listing is and price offer is not a formal offer even if you purchase and checkout, it's actually treated as an "invitation to treat".So in terms of US law, Home Depot or any online retailer will get relief. But what about when some retailers honor the price or if the credit card company sides with the customer on a price mistake, etc? Well the only reason retailers or CC will side is customer is due to good will not law. The law for online retailers come from common law, if there was an egregious pricing mistake by a retail worker sellers won't be forced to honor massive pricing mistakes for unlimited quantities.

i got a call from Home Depot. "I'm the operations manager here. I see you have multiple orders in the system uh for 44 bricks. Your orders might not get delivered because of the way you've set it up. So if you can give me a call back, I'd greatly appreciate it."

just as other has commented, a uber driver came and delivered 44 bricks today. i got a lot more coming tomorrow and the operation manager was like hell nah.
