Super low price. However, if you can swing it, look for a Cuisinart when they go on sale. I have a 40-year-old unit that still works perfectly

Can't disagree, but the Cuisinart bowls can break and replacements often cost more than this Black+Decker.

Never had one break. But yes, more expensive. Every single cheap household electric I ever bought ended up in the trash

Fortunately (for me), epoxy holds my cracked bowl together pretty good. Living on borrowed time though. :-)

Cuisinart can be complete junk now. I just bought a bunch of kitchen utensils from them in last few months, and the handles are falling off because they were glued on, and I cut myself on the metal part of the handle, because it was not designed right, and also not properly sanded or smoothed.
