Can't imagine this does anything if it requires you to flush it down drain with water vs draino sitting in drain for a bit

I've never used it, but based off of the name/title, it is for a different purpose than your average draino product. Draino being something to hopefully fix a clog, this is to prevent them. I imagine it does something similar to the copper sulfate that I pour down my toilet before bed....which I'm suppose to do once a month but often forget for months. To kill or slow down roots so my basement floods slightly less often.
