This, or the $15 Bumblebee II USB condenser mic from Woot?
It's a hard pass IMO.
The heyday is around half the size compared to the bumblebee, which means a smaller capsule. The bumblebee has great sound and zero latency monitoring via the on-device knob. Each tap of the button on the bumblebee lets you tweak mic gain, zero latency monitoring, and OS sound. I have 4 of the bumblebees now for my work pc and my kids gaming setups and it's very comparable to the raw sound quality of my blue yeti. The only thing something like the yeti gets you is software with all of the EQ/compressors/gates/limiters/etc. It's nice to fire up discord or teams and have all of the processing already handled. Though, you could totally do voicemeter or elgato wave link with some free vst's.
Here is the only decent review of the heyday mic, and even then, the guy is clipping constantly despite the heyday having a gain knob. It sounds just ok and doesn't have a nice warm low end that I enjoy. I think it does have a multi-mode button like the bumblebee, but no one appears to know how to use it in any review. I'm pretty sure they heyday only has a mute/unmute mode by depressing the input gain knob. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvlOY5d_-wM

Good to know. I've been meaning to pick up one of these cheap Bumblebees after my HyperX DuoCast's USB port died on me.
Nvidia's AI noise cancellation feature should also be useful to filter out background noise while I'm gaming, especially if I'm using the TV speakers for sound.
