And then there's the issue of what happens after the ice melts. The water spreads out into a puddle and then quickly refreezes again.
Community Reviews
This propane torch is mainly valued as a small, adjustable flame tool for weeds, charcoal, outdoor fireplaces, wasp removal, and occasional food searing. The igniter and front handguard add convenience, and it can run from a camping canister or a larger 20 pound tank with an adapter. The main knocks are its cheap plastic build, short range, and reports of the flame going out or even catching fire if pushed too hard. It seems best as a handy, low-cost torch for light-duty jobs rather than heavy blasting.
The torch can work with a full-size propane tank for outdoor tasks.
The adjustable flame can be used for weed control by withering plants.
The torch can be useful for small culinary flame jobs like charring foods.
The torch can help start charcoal using a flame plus strong airflow.
The torch may feel like cheap plastic and could burn or fry the user.
The flame torch may not melt driveway ice effectively and can refreeze quickly.
The torch can pose a brush-fire risk when used for burning weeds.
Some reviews reportedly show the torch catching on fire quickly.

Give the kids squirt guns then show them yours. FLAME ON. Chase them around then squirt them with water. That instant of fear showing on their faces will make it all worth it.
You'll be cemented in their memories as the crazy uncle.
