I have this light. Really works well but I would recommend using it with a 5ah battery or similar. The 1.5 that comes with it just doesn't last too long.

Yeah I do wish this was a tool only deal and priced like 100-130 or something. I have a feeling this light is not on sale often though.

I also have this light and honestly just plan on using a cord. I don't even waste time with this anymore and I just plug this into an extension cord. That is the nice thing about this light is use can use battery or use a cord. But as I stated the battery just doesn't last. Not to mention that the batteries are so difficult to remove.

If you need portable and plan to use it for long period, spend the extra and get the m18 version. That thing is a tank.

Nice light. I use mine regularly and also have the m18 version. The m12 is nice as it's much more compact. Depot packaging these with 1.5ah batteries is a joke though. Don't expect much runtime on those.

Also have this light and it's my favorite M12 tool I have. Not sure what they are even packing a 1.5 Ah battery with this, won't last. I use 6.0 Ah with mine, but they are generic packs so they no longer last as long as they should, but still last long enough for my uses. Also you want to remove the battery when running on AC plug power. Great that it's dual powered. Batteries for me are not difficult to remove, no moreso than any other M12 tools.

If you go M18, just keep in mind that there are several versions so make sure you compare them. I have a couple of the lowest-end M18 that I got in 2018 with 8.0 batteries and they are great but bulky and heavy. May get this M12 and put the 1.5 batteries on marketplace.

Runs 10 hrs on a 6ah battery, I would rather it comes with a single 3 ah battery instead. Wait for a tool only deal.

Thanks for sharing this. I think I'm also going to go for the bonus light for a bit more.
