It's a nice hotel, rooms being tiny is the biggest knock - also some rooms are exposed to kuhio Ave traffic noise, so request a higher floor. The hotel is always spotless and well managed. It's often the deal of the day on hotel tonight for a similar rate once resort fee is added. This is a good deal if it works for your dates, especially since you earn bonvoy points booking directly via Marriott
I get what you're saying, but you're coming across as kind of a tw*t about it. Hawaii has many pluses, especially for those on the west coast. You can fly to HI for a weekend vacation, which you can't do for any south east asian countries. No passport. You can drink the water. You don't need vaccines. I know you know all this.
what dates? it starts from $189 with $189 being the lowest (see 2nd screenshot). the green font in the calendar just tells you that that's the lowest....even if it's not green, it's still low considering you are getting bonus points and waived destination fee.

I get a 3 bedroom 5 star VILLA with huge breakfast buffet free for whole family in vietnam's beach for that cost. FLight is a few nundred more then hawaii but flying on 787 or a350 is much more comfort, then stone age 737. Also free airport pickup & drop off in a newer SUV EV
I'd like to go to Vietnam but dang from the U.S. that's like a 16 hour flight

That makes sense if you live in Australia. But Hawaii can be done in a three night trip from the Western US. Any trip to Asia is a week or more.

I disagree. The property is in desperate need of a renovation, has a subpar pool and you better pray they put you in the main tower because the other tower is pretty disgusting. Best part about it is its location being right next to Stix Asia and the International Marketplace. And don't even get me started on their forced Valet as they don't have self-parking.
