Grow grass up to 50 percent thicker than native soil -guaranteed - with Scotts Turf Builder LawnSoil. (Tests prove Scotts Turf Builder LawnSoil grows grass up to 50% thicker compared to native topsoil.) This product has been identified as a Water Smart product, indicating that it contains a mixture of ingredients that improve moisture retention. Using Scotts will provide better germination than native soil. At the same time, the added fertilizer helps grass seedlings grow faster and stronger, leading to a thicker, greener lawn.

Lowe's bag is 1.5 cu ft and Ace bag 1.0 cu ft. I'd pay the extra $1 for 50% more at Lowe's
