I don't cook beyond heating up frozen foods so go easy on me … what in the world would you use such a small pan for? My coffee mug is bigger!

Making sauce for 1-2 people to pour over other food cooked in a different vessel I guess? I feel like it would have more use cases if it had a pour spout and/or a lid.

I moved into my first very tiny small studio with a small kitchen with a sink and two burners. What are my must-have cooking pans/pots/etc.?

I would say to get a 10 inch non-stick skillet and a 2 quart saucepan/saucier. That should meet 95% of your cooking needs.

Here is a decent starter set of stainless pot and pans.

https://www.webstaurantstore.com/...PP7KT.html

You can accomplish almost everything with this set. The big thing with stainless is preheating the pan and fat/oil before frying.

For me that link doesn't direct to any stainless pans. What is the name of them so I can manually search ?

never non stick. unless you like eating the coating that only works for a very short time, and being a future casualty of Dupont.

That link is hosed, but I wouldn't bother trying to find something on that commercial/restaurant site anyway.

This is mostly for presentation.
If it was full copper, you could use it to prepare finicky sauces.
