The PL Mini 2 Valkyrie is a compact pistol light that delivers strong brightness, easy magnetic charging, and simple controls for momentary, constant, and strobe modes. It also has practical rail positioning and fits holsters made for the TLR1, with long term use showing it can stay attached and keep working for years. The main concern is the flip lever mount, which has been reported to loosen or fail under fast, high intensity use, and some build quality reviews are worrying. A capable compact light, but the mount deserves scrutiny.

  • The flashlight can keep working and staying attached after years of pistol use.

  • The controls support momentary, constant, and strobe modes for quick activation.

  • The magnetic charging design can let charging happen without removing the light.

  • The light can provide bright output and may run about four to six hours continuously.

  • The flip-lever mount can unlock under fast, high-intensity use and may slide or fly off.

  • Build-quality concerns can include reports of the light failing and burning a hole in a pocket.

  • The deal price may not be available because the listing shows the flash deal expired.

  • Magnetic recharging can differ from USB-C rechargeable versions, and a Temu comparison suggests similar brightness at a much lower price.

These olights with the flip lever mounts ain't it. Spend a little more and get their versions with the coin screw down mount like the TLR lights. Or spend $300 and *buy American*, not enemy merch. If you have surefire on your gear, gun snobs will approve lol.
Completely agree. I had one installed when i did the Tactical Games because I wanted it to match how I'd normally have it configured. In fast, high intensity situations, in and out of holster the flip tab unlocked multiple times. Several times that led to it sliding before I realized it. One of the times it literally flew off while I was shooting. The screw that connects to the cam bottoms out before it gets tight enough to stay secure on my rail.

I generally like olight, but this couldn't get through a recreational event. I wouldn't trust it for anything more serious.

Olight is usually okay, but not sure I would use them for a pistol attachment

Not really, lasers aren't really as useful as you might think. It's much easier to consistently pickup and track iron sights than to look for a red dot down range that can get washed out in the sun. I think media kinda hyped them up because people think it looks cool.
For most people and especially those with bad eyes a red dot or laser is faster than irons, at closer range irons are generally better but depending on the situation it may not matter.
